What is Freemasonry
Freemasonry is one of the oldest brotherhood in the world, tracing its origins to the medieval fraternities of stonemasons, a society of people who demonstrate high standards of morals, integrity, kindness, honesty, and fairness.
Freemasonry brings together people of good character from different religious, ethnic, or profession background, who share the belief in the fatherhood of God - creator of the universe. Discussion of politics and religion are forbidden in masonic meetings, to avoid disharmony or frictions among brothers.
Freemasons are following three great principles:
  • Brotherly love - demonstrating tolerance, respect, and kindness to others.
  • High morals - striving for truth and high morals to govern their lives.
  • Charity - freemasons practice charity not only for their own brothers, but for the community as a whole; by giving, helping, supporting their fellow creatures.
